Texas Values Action proudly endorses Dr. Dawn Buckingham for the Texas Senate, District 24. Buckingham is a practicing physician and has served as a trustee on the Lake Travis ISD School Board and as an appointee on the Sunset Commission. Buckingham advanced to the May 24 Republican Primary Runoff and will be facing State Rep. Susan King.

“Dawn Buckingham will be a conservative voice for protecting life, religious freedom, and marriage in the Texas Senate. With a strong record of public service, the people of Senate District 24 should be confident in sending a hard worker like Dawn Buckingham to the Texas Senate,” said Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values Action.

Rep. Susan King was one of the lower scoring Republicans in the 2015 Faith and Family Scorecard (69%).
