Breaking! Donald J. Trump expected to Speak Tonight at RNC!
Honestly, tears were coming to my eyes when I heard her tell the story about her young son who died as a victim of fentanyl poisoning. Anne Funder spoke this week at the Republican National Convention (RNC), about her son’s death and the heartbreak she has felt. When a child dies it can rip apart a family and leave an emotional scar that never heals. Biden has failed to keep Americans safe from this drug crisis and many other issues that matter to families, like Men Competing in Women’s Sports, and attacks on our parental rights, our college campuses, and even attacks on our American Flag.
I have been blessed to be serving as a National Delegate this week at the RNC, for Texas. I’ll be on the Fiserv Forum Convention Floor tonight when President Trump takes the stage around 9 p.m. Also, Christian Conservative leader Franklin Graham will speak tonight as well as, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, according to information I received privately. Oh, and Hulk Hogan will be speaking!! Should be fun but also important to see and hear that the values of faith, family and freedom are very much a part of this week. I have heard so many encouraging prayers prayed “in the name of Jesus” in front of thousands of people in attendance, and millions of people watching on their television or online.
I have personally been interviewed by local, state, national and international media over 20 times, giving me the opportunity to reach millions of people and keep the focus on how Texas and Texans care about faith, family, freedom and pro-life values, and make it harder for the liberal media bias to prevail.
I can tell you this – the strong support for patriotism, for love of America, and for proudly and loudly proclaiming that we are One Nation Under God is at the highest level I have ever seen in a long time. Every day in so many speeches, I am hearing speakers at this convention quote directly from the Bible. God’s presence is so strong here in Milwaukee!
Lastly, I want to say two things: (1), I was disappointed on Monday that there was no opportunity to improve the pro-life language in the national platform. There is solid pro-life language in the platform, but there were words that were not included this time that make it more clear how important the pro-life issue is in America. I signed onto a letter and posted numerous times my support to address this issue, but other leaders like Tony Perkins felt that after the failed assassination attempt on President Trump, that our energy should be focused on uniting our country and keeping American safe, as a family will be burying their loved one, Corey Comperatore, the man who died at the Trump Rally from the bullet of the assassin. But I was assured by Tony Perkins and other national pro-life leader that the opportunity to restore stronger pro-life language in the platform would come at a later date and this effort would not be abandoned. I will continue to express the need for the strong pro-life language to return to the platform. I will say I was encouraged that issues like Save Women’s Sports and stopping sex change operations on kids was included in the Republican platform and that issue has been talked about so much by so many speakers this week.
Now (2), I want to remind you, that Texas Values Action had endorsed President Trump for election and we have also endorsed Senator Ted Cruz for re-election! Remember, in 2018 Senator Cruz only won by 2% in one of the most expensive Senate races in history! Senator Cruz again finds himself in a very close race so make sure to tell your friends and family how important this Senate seat is for Texas.
I hope you tune in to watch tonight and look for me standing in the Texas section on the convention hall floor for the closing night of the RNC! Please consider donating to our work today! God Bless!! ~ Jonathan Saenz
