Cheryl has been a proven leader in her community, as a sixth generation Texan who grew up and raised her own family in Tarrant County (Fort Worth), as well as starting and running a successful small business. Cheryl Bean was the key leader who showed her Christian Conservative principles by successfully passing a standard that says a Fort Worth charter school must use the birth certificate to decide if students will compete in the boys choir or the girls choir, after liberal activists tried to pressure the school to adopt inaccurate political ideology on this issue. Cheryl is a small business owner and is very active in her community, attending many faith, family and pro-life events including Texas Values Action events. Cheryl Bean received a statewide award in 2023 for her leadership on faith, family and freedom in Texas.
