Standing for Faith, Family & Freedom at RPT Convention

June 17, 2018
Topic: Videos

This week, our team has proudly promoted the message of faith, family, and freedom and worked hard to ensure family values were successfully protected at the Republican Party of Texas Convention in San Antonio. Yesterday, the Texas Republican Party delegates voted to make religious freedom and privacy protection a legislative priority for the upcoming 2019 legislative session.

Delegates also approved a new platform with strong pro-family planks on life, marriage, religious freedom, privacy protection, and many other important issues. And in a big victory for grassroots conservatives, Texas Values Action endorsed James Dickey was re-elected as Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.

Our team also engaged with thousands of delegates at our booth educating Texans about our work and how they can keep pro-family values strong in our state. Throughout the week, we had the opportunity to record several Facebook Live interviews with some great guests, including Pastor Rafael Cruz, GOP Chairman James Dickey, Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller, Sen. Donna Campbell, and many more! We even had a great event giving away cake at our booth in celebration of the recent Christian cake baker religious freedom victory at the U.S. Supreme Court.
