You DID it! View TX Victories!
Thanks to All Supporters of Faith, Family, & Freedom for Voting Your Values and Bringing a VICTORY!
Ah, the victory is so sweet! Texas had an amazing night last night with wins for faith, family and freedom up and down the ballot! Texas Values Action was proud to endorse both former president Donald J. Trump and Senator Ted Cruz early on along with so many other amazing candidates.
Today, Texas Values Action is proud to congratulate former (and soon-to-be once again) President Donald J. Trump on a historic victory last night alongside Senator Ted Cruz! Not only did President Trump win the electoral college like in 2016, but he also carried the national popular vote!
Texans came out in strong numbers to stand up for faith, family, and freedom in both races. President Trump won by a sizable margin, receiving over 56% of the vote to Kamala Harris’ 42%! Senator Ted Cruz beat Colin Allred 53 – 44! These are not small margins which means that Texas cares about faith, family, and freedom!
The radical left spent $500 million dollars on marketing and advertising that promoted abortion, much of which was spent in Texas, in order to hurt pro-life candidates – but it failed to impact the Texas elections! However, issues like keeping men out of women’s sports and protecting kids from harmful “sex-change” surgeries and hormones were winning issues last night!
Jonathan Saenz, President & Attorney for Texas Values Action released the following statement:
“Texans sent a strong message last night to George Soros and far left liberals – ‘don’t mess with Texas.’ A “Keep Texas, Texas” focused campaign helped Ted Cruz win a major victory by almost double digits, and Colin Allred buried his own campaign and chances by failing to protect women and girls from having men compete against them in sports. Donald Trump’s victory, by almost 15 points in Texas, was also helped in large part by Trump’s commitment to the Save Women’s Sports issue and expressing concern about children having sex change “transitions.” Texas has helped make America great again.”
Overall Texas Values Action had a win rate of 86% last night! On the statewide level, all candidates endorsed by Texas Values Action prevailed including both Texas Supreme Court Justices John Devine and Jimmy Blacklock as well as Railroad Commissioner Christi Craddick.
In the Texas State Senate, Texas Values Action endorsed candidate, Adam Hinojosa, was successful in unseating Morgan LaMantia, which increased the number of Republicans in the Texas State Senate from 19-12 to 20-11! In the Texas House, Republicans also picked up two seats. Last session, Republicans held 86 house seats, but in this session, Republicans will have 88 seats in the Texas house!
These are huge victories which will make a notable impact as the Texas Values Action team prepares for the upcoming 89th legislative session! In December, Republicans will make an informal vote for Speaker of the Texas House, which will be pivotal in the direction of the next legislative session. Stay tuned for updates!

Mark Your Calendars!

Internships Available!
Do you know anyone looking for a life changing experience? We are currently accepting applications to the Texas Values internship program for exceptional college and law school students! Former intern, Megan Benton, says “I learned quickly that as an intern with Texas Values, I wouldn’t be sitting at a desk, bored and stapling papers. Instead, I attended committee hearings, watched house proceedings, testified in State Affairs, spent late nights at the capitol working hard on bills, and even shook the hand of Governor Greg Abbott.”
