Texas Values Action proudly endorses Kyle Biedermann for the Texas House of Representatives, House District 73. Biedermann is a well-known community leader in the district and has been the owner of Biedermann’s Ace Hardware in Fredericksburg for more than 30 years. Biedermann advanced to the May 24 Republican Primary Runoff and is challenging the incumbent Doug Miller.

“Kyle Biedermann is a conservative that will fight for the values that matter most to Texans. His dedication to protect and defend religious freedom, marriage, and life make it clear he is the right choice in this race. The people of House District 73 can be confident that Kyle Biedermann will fight for their common-sense values in the Texas House,” said Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values Action.

Rep. Doug Miller was one of the lowest scoring Republicans in the 2015 Faith and Family Scorecard (66%). During the 2015 session, Miller voted for a bill that would have infringed the First Amendment free speech rights of conservative non-profits and potentially even churches. Texas Values Action helped lead efforts to defeat the bill.

Early Voting: May 16 – May 20

Runoff Election Day: May 24
