Texas Values Action Endorses David Palmer for Texas House

January 19, 2016

David Palmer endorsement graphicTexas Values Action proudly endorses David Palmer for the Texas House of Representatives, House District 134. Palmer has been a certified CPA for over 30 years and has served his community in a civic leadership and volunteer capacity on the Southside Place Park Board, the Southside Place Men’s Civic Club, and was elected three times to the City Council. Palmer is challenging Rep. Sarah Davis, a liberal Republican, in the March 1 Republican Primary.

“David Palmer is a conservative leader with a record of serving people in his community with integrity. His commitment to fight to protect innocent human life and defend marriage as the union of one man and one woman is the kind of true leadership that the people of House District 134 deserve. With a record of distinguished public service, the people of House District 134 should be confident in sending David Palmer to the Texas House,” said Jonathan Saenz, President of Texas Values Action.

Rep. Sarah Davis was the lowest scoring Republican in the 2015 Faith and Family Scorecard (14%), scoring below several Democrats. Davis, who consistently votes anti-life, was the lone Republican to vote against the Sonogram Law in 2011 and the Pro-Life Omnibus Law (HB 2) in 2013. In 2015, Davis was the first Republican in the Texas House to support the redefinition of marriage.

Constituents of HD 134 deserve a true conservative voice that will champion the values of faith, family, and freedom in the Texas House.

Early Voting: February 16 – February 26

Primary Election Day: March 1
