Texas Values Action Endorses Greg Brockhouse for San Antonio Mayor
Texas Values Action is proud to release its endorsement of Greg Brockhouse for San Antonio Mayor in the June 8 Runoff Election. Greg Brockhouse is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, a small business owner, and currently serves on the San Antonio City Council.
Brockhouse has been a vocal advocate for Chick-fil-A and religious freedom, having voted against the decision by the San Antonio City Council to ban a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the city’s airport because of Chick-fil-A’s support of Christian ministries. He has rightly denounced the Council’s vote banning Chick-fil-A as an attack on religious freedom.
Brockhouse is running against liberal incumbent Mayor Ron Nirenberg. Nirenberg has been a vocal supporter of the attack on Chick-fil-A in San Antonio, and he cast the deciding vote when the council reaffirmed its ban on Chick-fil-A in April after Greg Brockhouse had led an effort to overturn the ban.
Greg Brockhouse was a recent guest on the Texas Values Report and talked with our President Jonathan Saenz about the Chick-fil-A issue in San Antonio. Listen to the interview here.
It is important to elect principled pro-family, pro-life leaders in local governments across Texas. Without the right leaders in local positions of power, our values will not be upheld.
Texas Values Action only endorses candidates who share in our mission to ensure Texas is a state in which religious liberty flourishes, families prosper, and every human life is valued. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a firm commitment to protecting religious liberty, marriage and family, and innocent human life.
